Joan graduated from the Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program at Makami College in Edmonton in 2024, completing 3000 hours of in-depth, hands-on training. Her approach combines relaxation and therapeutic techniques, and she’s certified in hot stone massage, nerve flossing, CPR/First Aid, and has completed specialized training including a Cadaver Lab Workshop to deepen her understanding of anatomy.

Joan became a massage therapist with a clear goal: to help people live with less pain and more ease. Whether she’s working with adults or infants, Joan brings a compassionate and skilled touch to every session. For her, the most rewarding part of the job is watching clients leave feeling better than when they came in.

She loves the warm, welcoming environment at Urban Massage & Wellness, and values being part of a supportive team that truly cares about each client’s well-being.

Outside the treatment room, Joan enjoys singing, playing guitar, taking walks, and spending time with family. She’s always eager to expand her skills and continue learning new techniques to better support her clients’ health goals.
